Dance4 Information

Dance4 is an internationally recognised dance development agency, supporting UK and international artists to develop new ideas in choreography; and providing experiences for the public as spectators, participants, commentators and commissioners. Dance4 curates the biennial Nottdance Festival, which takes place across the city of Nottingham; and its regional work for children and young people includes U.Dance in the East Midlands and the Centre for Advanced Training. In 2016 Dance4 established the international Centre for Choreography offering specialist support and space for the research, production and distribution of new choreographic work. An exemplar creative facility sited in the Creative Quarter of Nottingham, iC4C acts as a focal point in connecting the local communities to opportunities that raise aspirations. iC4C hosts international and UK artists alongside the public, and supports research and creative collaboration between people, spaces and places. iC4C’s state-of-the-art spaces are available for hire. Dance4 has a strategic role across the East Midlands working with a range of partners to bring artists and communities together.
