Starstruck Academy of Dance was founded by Lisa Holtz Odell in 1984. We have grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in the country. Dance Spirit magazine named Starstruck one of the Top 50 Studios in the country in 2004. We offer classes specializing in Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Turns, Jumps, Tumbling, Poms, and Creative Movement. Lisa Holtz Odell has owned and directed Starstruck for the past 21 years and has taught dance for over 24 years. Lisa was featured on the cover of Dance Teacher magazine, April 2004. She specializes in Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, and Turns. Lisa directs and teaches Starstruck's Elite Company. She travels the country teaching master classes, choreographing industrial shows, and judging competitions.

We offer a yearly curriculum in various dance disciplines such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pom, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and technique as well as a progressive tot program. The director and the professional staff share the philosophy that dance is to be enjoyed by all for its intrinsic benefits. Our goal is to provide our students the opportunity to have fun, create and be challenged through the art of dance. Our instructors love what they do and believe in a close family atmosphere where they can teach and share their love for dance with their students. Our diverse staff has the ability to take a student from beginner to Commercial or Broadway caliber, but also realizes that not all children have such aspirations. Students of all abilities are welcome and will be offered challenges that will keep them interested as well as improve their skills and self-esteem. We are confident your child will enjoy being a part of our dance education program and the EDA family. An innovative facility, with over 3000 square feet, features four dance rooms equipped with cushioned stage step flooring to protect your childs joints and muscles while providing a safe and comfortable place for all students. The floor "floats" on hundreds of high density foam cushions which absorb the impact of dancing and jumping. It reduces injury and allows the dancers to perform with minimal fatigue. In addition, viewing windows and monitors are available for your viewing pleasure.
