DANBIT A/S Information

DANBIT, Dansk Binær Teknik A/S, was established in 1970 as a privately owned company. During the early years our primary tasks were electronic measuring of mechanical quantities - electronic weighing in particular. DANBIT has always been, and continues to be, a supplier of scales and automatic equipment all over the world. In the late 1970's DANBIT produced computer systems which were used for the calculation of recipes for ready-mixed concrete and control of the actual weighing. DANBIT was among the first companies to import hardware from Taiwan. We started with importing computer equipment, which we rebuilt into telephones for hearing-impaired customers. Through this entire time DANBIT has maintained its strategy with technical expertise as the most important factor. In recent years, our activities has shifted to sales of special PC-oriented products for industrial application. DANBIT is main supplier of more than 4000 special PC - oriented products. DANBIT imports products from companies in Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, Germany and England. As most of our suppliers are in Taiwan, we have our own office in Taipei.
