Damvent is a family-owned technology company that develops and manufactures premium hybrid HVAC systems for fresh air. max-e® – one unit. Total HVAC. max-e® is Damvent's premium hybrid HVAC platform. It is not just an air handling unit with a heat pump inside. It is a complete HVAC system in a single package. Ventilation, heating, cooling, humidity control and heat recovery are engineered together from the start. Everything is managed by one integrated control system. Instead of separate AHUs, chillers, boilers, humidifiers and plant rooms, max-e® gives clients one factory-built and factory-tested solution. That means less plant space, simpler installation, lower energy use and a single point of responsibility for the whole system. The platform is built for projects where conditions are critical: hospitals and healthcare facilities (HTM 03-01), airports, laboratories, and commercial and public buildings. Close to 2,000 Damvent hybrid units are in operation in 24 countries, designed for climates from -30 °C to +55 °C. Hybrid HVAC is all we do. We were the first to publish the overall net efficiency of hybrid units – COPnet = (Qhr + Qhp) / (Nfans + Ncomp) – in our documentation and selection software. Every max-e® unit is designed, manufactured and tested by our team of around 60 people in our own factory in Burgas, Bulgaria – 14,000 m² of production space on a 20,000 m² site.
