We collect, evaluate, analyze, and document information on direct losses to civilian infrastructure caused by the Russian aggression. Run by Kyiv School of Economics. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale unprovoked war against Ukraine. During the war, hundreds of schools, kindergartens, hospitals, cultural institutions, hundreds of bridges, a dozen airports, thousands of square meters of residential buildings, and the world's largest airplane, the Mriya, have been destroyed or damaged. The amount of direct losses to Ukraine's economy due to the destruction and damage to civilian and military infrastructure is already estimated at tens of billions of dollars. This project collects, evaluates, and analyzes information on material losses of citizens and the state from the war with Russia. Since the first days of the war, in February 2022, the project has been implemented by the KSE Institute (a think tank at the Kyiv School of Economics) in cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
