DADAA is a community arts and health organisation. We facilitate cultural engagement as a means of social inclusion and individual empowerment for people with disability or mental health issues. Participants are supported to achieve meaningful art outcomes, connect with community, reach new audiences and establish high professional benchmarks. DADAA offers consultancy services in training, research and evaluation, and has received several awards for its programs. DADAA works through three place-based hubs: • DADAA Fremantle is our head office, and includes studio and gallery spaces • DADAA Midland serves the eastern region of Perth • DADAA Lancelin serves the Wheatbelt region in the Shire of Gingin. DADAA also works regionally, on a program-by-program basis, through a statewide network of galleries, studios and workshops that we have developed in partnership with local and state government partners to ensure that accessible, place-based arts and disability programming is in place across WA. DADAA has programs in visual art, digital art, performance and music. DADAA artists participate in exhibitions and festivals, and we have the only Audio Description for blind and vision-impaired people at large outdoor events in Perth. DADAA is an NDIS-registered organisation and works with individual clients to prepare plans for their unique journey through artistic and cultural engagement. Our Disseminate Project is an action-based research, evaluation and publishing initiative. Evaluators offer research and consultancy services to organisations needing assistance with evaluating programs or projects. We are able to assist with evaluation design, data collection, data analysis, communications and advocacy. We also offer professional blogging and other online and print publishing services aimed at capturing processes and outcomes in community-based arts and health projects.
