DADA & Partners Information

Design and Development Atelier (DADA) is a multi-disciplinary firm based in Gurgaon. The firm is headed by four founding partners- Sumit Arora, Aditi Arora, Parul Mittal, and Mukul Arora. DADA executes a diverse array of projects including residential architecture and landscape, campus planning, and urban design projects. Our primary guiding vision for all our projects is to be able to create meaningful, adaptive, and engaging places . That our projects are not unattached from the city; that the interface of a residence and the street it fronts or a campus and its neighbours is of continued coexistence and each project is a step towards meaningful city-building. As a design philosophy, we view all our designs through multiple ‘lenses’ of global and regional context, desire lines on the site, client aspirations and weave these with a central idea – be it sustainability or a specific experiential quality, and others. In all our projects the process itself is a main determinant for our work.
