Cytocell was originally established in 1991 at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital before moving to Banbury, Oxfordshire in 1994. Located in Cambridge since 2003, Cytocell is now a significant European manufacturer of Fluorescence in situ Hybridisation (FISH) probes, with a well established worldwide product distribution network which covers more than 60 countries. Cytocell offers a comprehensive range of FISH probes, including FISH probes for constitutional cytogenetic and oncology (both pathology and haematology) applications. Cytocell also has a proprietary BAC clone collection, and offers a custom FISH probe design service - www.myprobes.com.
