YELLS (Youth Empowerment through Learning, Leading, and Serving, Inc.) is an innovative, place-based non-profit that empowers youth to rise as servant-leaders who uplift their community. We envision communities where youth have voice and value and ensure they possess the leadership skills, confidence, character, and collaborative networks needed to shape their world. Through our Mentoring Program (3rd-5th grade mentees; 9th-12th peer mentors), Afterschool Program (K-5th grade), and Community Action Café Teen Program, YELLS serves as a community hub and center for servant-leadership in our students’ own Franklin Gateway neighborhood. By providing youth with marketable skills, support, and the opportunity to rise as leaders, we inspire them to invest in themselves, in their education, and in their community. YELLS is an incubator for youth leaders and a forum for individual and collective voice and action. Our programs work across generations to garner results for the whole child, whole family, and whole community. With this holistic approach, we work to engage all stakeholders to achieve shared success and uplift their neighborhood.

Leaders Institute Maryland (LI) is a non-profit organization that provides hands-on, character-based, measurable leadership training and development to children and youth. Our mission is to provide an interactive, fun and safe environment in which children and youth learn leadership skills necessary to be agents of change that impact our community with excellence and integrity.

Founded in 2008, the Rocklin Education Excellence Foundation (REEF) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to student enrichment within the Rocklin Unified School District. REEF provides financial and community resources to enhance and promote educational excellence in the district’s schools.
