Cypher & Cypher is an accounting, auditing and advisory firm with offices in Canonsburg, Waynesburg, and Wexford, Pennsylvania. John Cypher founded our firm in 1974. Our client base is broad and varied covering all major segments of the economy - business, government, and not-for-profit. The firm serves clients in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia. For 2015 tax filing season, we prepared tax returns for clients in 39 of the 50 states. All CPA's in the firm are members of the AICPA and PICPA. Several firm members are also members of various other organizations which promote audit quality and professional excellence. Cypher & Cypher is a member of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center, and Employee Benefits Audit Quality Center. The Centers' primary purpose is to promote the importance of quality governmental and pension audits and the value of such audits to purchasers of those audit services. The Centers offer resources to enhance the quality of a firm's governmental and pension audits.
