Sportson startade 1980, växte snabbt och var snart en storkund hos de svenska leverantörerna. På slutet av 80-talet började vi även med direktimport av cyklar och tillbehör. Detta ledde till att Sportson kunde erbjuda prisvärda cyklar till högsta kvalitet för alla som älskar att cykla. 1990 startade Jan Gerlach och Lars Haglund Bike Action i Sverige AB som äger rättigheterna till namnet Sportson. Sportson som butikskedja drivs idag under ett gemensamt franchisekoncept. Med 23 butiker på 14 orter runt om i landet – från Göteborg i väster till Lund i söder till Kalmar i öster och Uppsala i norr – är vi numera Sveriges största cykelspecialistkedja.
