Cyacle is an initiative backed by the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Cyacle is leading the way when it comes to public bike sharing. We believe in a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle and we are passionate about making the most of our urban environment. As part of our goal to really connect people with their surroundings, we launched Bikeshare in December 2014. This fully automated cycle hiring scheme is the first of its kind in the region and already a widespread success. It works by giving users convenient access to short-term bike rentals from stations around Yas Island, AI Raha, Al Reem and Abu Dhabi Island. Cyacle has made sure that Abu Dhabi gets nothing but the best. Abu Dhabi's bikeshare systems and bikes have been sourced from world leading manufacturers 8D Technologies and Arcade Bicyles based in Canada and France respectively. Initially started with 75 bicycles for hire at 11 locations and now have expanded to 50 stations and over 300 bikes across Abu Dhabi. Each station has a touchscreen kiosk, station map, and a docking system that releases bikes using a ride code or a member key. It’s a fun, affordable and convenient way to get around.
