Hardy Spicer is celebrating over 70 years of service and support for Australian businesses. Since our humble beginnings in the 1940’s in Burwood, Victoria, we’ve grown to offer driveline and hydraulics solutions nation-wide. Throughout so many years of experience, we’ve always retained our 3 guiding beliefs:
Our Strength is our People.
Forging meaningful relationships is the key to mutual benefit.
We Exceed Expectations.
This is our drive, and it’s why customers look to Hardy Spicer as the premier source for product, service and repairs.
We’re Committed to Australia.
We pride ourselves on bringing the leading global brands in transmission and hydraulics to market.
The Hardy Spicer difference is that our customers can rely on our support long after they’ve found their product, with repairs and service available in all states and major regional centres. We thank our valued partners and customers for an incredible 70 years together.
Sailrite is a second generation family business and full-stock retailer of thousands of canvas supplies, tools, fabrics, kits, and videos including the Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1 sewing machine and complete Sunbrella fabric lines. Sailrite also offers do-it-yourself kits, a sail loft, and instructions for sailors, boaters, and do-it-yourselfers around the globe.
Founded in 1969, the business was intended to serve a function no other business had ever served: to provide a source of instruction and materials for amateur sailmakers. At that time, sailmaking was not considered an "amateur" task, but founder Jim Grant blazed a way for Sailrite by placing 2nd at the Cal 20 Nationals with homemade sails.
Today, Sailrite continues to grow, adapt, and expand its product lines in industrial sewing machines, marine and furniture fabrics, hardware and tools, and sailing apparel, but one thing remains the same: Sailrite is still a family-run business committed to providing quality products, instructional resources, and excellent service to sailors and do-it-yourselfers around the world.
