Curious Workshop Information

Hey there, we are Andrew, Bryce and Willow. We run the Pop and Pop Shops curious in Hermosa Beach, CA and formerly had the Kauai, HI location. (closed due to covid-19). Bryce is a native of North Carolina where he started his career in the airline industry as a ramp rat. (You know those people who load and unload your luggage into your). He eventually ended up in Los Angeles, CA where he left the airline industry and opened up his first retail business in Hermosa Beach, CA. Andrew started his journey in Colorado at a young age before moving to Nevada with family and then Southern Utah for a few years in his early 20s. (That phrase makes it sound so exotic right, haha). He launched himself into the world of photography where he opened his own business and then relocated it to Hermosa Beach, CA. During the spring 2012 Bryce and Andrew met at curious in Hermosa Beach after Andrew moved to town where Bryce was sanding wood for a table he was building. We swear we are not making this up, there was real table wood sanding happening! Of course they started dating and soon Bryce convinced Andrew to help with the stationary buying for curious Hermosa Beach. It was all over then. The November of 2015 Andrew and Bryce married as well as started the adoption process. 2017 June led to the opening of curious Kauai. After a truck drove through the new location (yup it went right into it) after a month open we spent the next 4 months refocusing the vibe of the Kauai location and making sure we had better wall security. curious Kauai reopened November 2017.
