Curator Engine Information

Curator Engine was conceived and developed by MBA student Tim McElligott and his partner, well known entrepreneur, Lane Nemeth, who share a passion to help artistic people find careers as artists. To date, much of the economic difficulty for creatives has been caused by the small number of venues available to the artists to have their art ever seen. And many of the galleries are simply inaccessible to emerging artists. On the other side of the equation, professional firms, developers, designers, and other large scale buyers have little time, energy, and understanding of how to seek out, procure, and install original artworks from artists in their communities. Curator Engine was founded to fill this enormous void. We partner with University Art Departments to give their artists a chance to be shown to businesses, designers, and developers in a curated, fairly priced, and customized setting. We encourage Arizona State University students, alumni, and faculty to upload their artwork. We have a wide variety of clients looking for many types of art, and similarly, we host artists from all disciplines with a variety of styles and subjects. Our experienced curators use our database to match each client with the work they desire by coordinating all of the details of the selection, sale or rental, and installation. There is a supply of local, high quality art and a demand for that art - rarely has there been an entity that is excited about, and capable of, bridging that gap. Curator Engine's entire mission is to ensure that the artist and the customer have an easily accessible sphere to meet and work together to their mutual benefit. Share this:
