Culture Magazine, an exciting youth publication, brings together elements of pop culture, fashion, and self-expression along with strong editorial content and visuals provided by youth writers and editors. Culture Magazine intends to do what other youth-centered publications only claim to do-present compelling stories, images, and perspectives of everyday young people trying to overcome life barriers and achieve their destiny. Ultimately, Culture Magazine is a forum for teens to share the realities of their lives and articulate ways to create positive change, something that is unique for teen-driven publications that tend to only focus on young people as consumers. Harper is no stranger to inspirational entrepreneurship. She's been instrumental in guiding Youth Achieving Destiny, a non-profit organization founded by her father, former San Francisco 49er Willie Harper and his wife Roxane. YAD provides entrepreneurship training for at-risk youth, ages 10-21, while also attempting to improve the quality of youths' lives and experiences. After a life-threatening event changed the course of their life, the Harper's dedicated their many efforts to establishing programs that give children role models and critical life skills. "Every person has a destiny which must be fulfilled. Like YAD, Culture endeavors to bring out the potential in every child and the dream of every visionary.
