Developing the most commercially viable path to fusion energy based on our patented Dynomak technology. Dynomak combines spheromak magnetic confinement with an imposed-dynamo current drive. Dynomak technology simplifies the production of fusion energy by unifying magnetic confinement, heating and current drive. CTFusion emerged from the University of Washington and seeks to build new prototype devices to demonstrate that Dynomak scales to reactor-relevant plasma configurations. These next prototype devices are the critical proof-of-concept steps of our development path towards economical, commercial fusion power plants.
