CSSAUK Information

Established in 1988, CSSAUK (Chinese Students & Scholars Association in the UK) is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization, which organizes, sponsors, and supports various social, cultural and academic activities among Chinese students and scholars in the UK. The association also maintains close connections with the intellectual community in China and other CSSA members across the world. CSSAUK is committed to developing unique and attractive programs and activities locally, nationally and internationally. This enables Chinese students and scholars in the UK, and all other individuals who are interested in China and Chinese culture to experience and enjoy a richer, fuller, and more successful life in the UK and beyond. CSSAUK particularly devotes itself in promoting education and culture exchange between China and the UK through mutual dialogue and collaborative initiatives on a wide variety of issues. It serves as a platform to bridge the gaps between the East and the Western world, and enhance understanding and awareness among the young generation of the two countries. CSSAUK has over 90 Subsidiary Associations throughout the UK and over 120,000 registered members with approximately 30,000 fresh students arriving in the UK from China each year.
