CSHQA Information

CSHQA is a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm founded in Boise, Idaho, in 1889. More than 100 professionals work from our offices in Boise, Denver, and Sacramento. CSHQA has licensed professionals to meet our clients' needs across the nation. We work in ten markets: adaptive reuse, aviation, government and civic, grocery, historic preservation and restoration, higher education, hospitality, multifamily housing, retail, and workplace. Our architects, engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects work together in studio-style teams, with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing engineering in-house and trusted specialty partners where a project calls for them. CSHQA has advocated for energy efficiency and sustainable design for decades. We joined the U.S. Green Building Council in 2001 and rebuilt our own headquarters, a 1950s brick-and-CMU warehouse, to LEED Platinum. Our staff ranges from AITs and EITs to 30-year veterans.
