Cryoocyte is a technology platform for high-precision fish farming. We are a young but fast-growing tech startup built by a team of industry professionals who aspire to solve one of the largest issues facing the world today: how do we feed the world’s population? Fish are one of the most environmentally efficient sources of protein, but with wild fish populations declining and the demand for animal protein increasing; the need for aquaculture is growing dramatically. Using data from farm-level sensors and remote satellites, we help fish farming companies all over the world produce healthier, more sustainable fish at lower cost by building a first-of-its-kind aquaculture analytics platform that will enable precision fish farming for this $150B industry.
