Cryogrind Information

Cryogrind was established in 1981 to commercialise Cryogenic processing technology which utilises liquid Nitrogen to freeze and grind soft or temperature sensitive rubbers and plastics. In the late 1980's the company was able to adapt this technology to the recycling of rigid and flexible PVC. The technology was commercially applied to the reprocessing of post consumer electrical cable and the recycling of used Vinyl bottles. In the 1990's the processing technology continued to evolve with the design and instillation of sophisticated compounding and melt filtration equipment. In recent years we have focused on the development of formulation technology to adjust the properties of waste rigid and flexible materials to meet the requirements of our rigid and flexible PVC customers. We remain 100% Australian owned.
