Cryocop captures industrial flue gases to reduce CO2-emissions and to convert these waste streams into high quality purified products (O2, N2, liquid CO2) for circulation in industry. This creates a unique business model: a carbon capture technology which has the potential for a return on investment per machine in 9-11 years. A solid investment for each factory without any need for subsidies. We generate revenue from the mix of cleaning emissions, the sale of industrial quality gas, and carbon credits. Our technology is an integration of a cryogenic carbon capture and regeneration system with an air separation unit, which can clean post-combustion flue gas at a cost of 20-40 Euro/ton CO2. Currently we are optimising our designs in a lab-setting. For our next step in creating a pilot plant we are looking for investors and partnerships. Cryocop was started as spin-off from TU Delft, UTwente TU Einhoven, Wageningen UR.
