We are focused on the development of iPhone/iPod and iPad2 apps in the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Learning Disabled (LD) market. Our approach to our current AAC product in development is unique and exciting. It has developed from years and years of watching AAC users communicate and seeing their frustrations. It comes from hours of training support professionals and seeing the time they have invested in setting up devices. We are very excited about its possibilities. Our LD project is taking shape and getting close to release. Working with parents and AT Specialists, it focuses on a specific type of activity for middle school and up and independent adults. Of curse, we have some generic apps already on the market that help us work with some of the features the iPhone and iPad devices present. And they give us something else to consider when looking at how techniques in the Assistive Technology market affect the general public user.
