The Crusader has been the official newspaper of Holy Cross since 1925. Formerly called The Tomahawk, the newspaper was renamed to The Crusader for the January 13, 1955 issue. Older publications of both The Tomahawk and The Crusader are still available for viewing if you view this archive. Presently, The Crusader is run by a group of students and two faculty advisors. These dedicated staff release a new copy of the newspaper every Friday during the academic year. The Crusader has a circulation of over 4,000 copies, and articles are also posted online. As a student organization, our goal is to maintain the paper as a non-profit and non-partisan publication that can continue to be distributed free of charge to all students, faculty, staff, and employees at Holy Cross.
