We count people! We can do it to increase public safety to avoid large crowds during festivals or large events. Our technology gives an accurate estimation (within 5% error rate) of the number of people at one spot. What’s the good thing about us? We can keep our accuracy over very large areas (10 000 m2 is no issue for us – bring it on!) and we preserve privacy by design (no GDPR headache for you!). And there is more good stuff: all of that information can be accessed continuously and real-time in the cloud. We are a start-up from imec and University of Antwerp, so our methods have passed the test of a thorough academic peer review and are patent pending.
