Crossbasket Castle Information

Crossbasket Castle and the associated grounds were purchased in 2011 with the intention to complete an authentic refurbishment of the Castle Building including the addition of a substantial new medieval style ballroom, and to ensure that once completed, it could be managed and preserved for future generations to enjoy. We began actively marketing the Castle for Wedding celebrations in June 2012 once we had set out the timetable for its redevelopment allowing prospective brides and grooms to secure a date in the future and follow its progress to its planned opening in 2015/16. Even as early as this and with the building a poor dilapidated shell, we had several people view the Castle at this early stage and enter dates in the diary for 2016 and beyond. This took courage and vision and we are happy to report that the transformation has been astonishing and many of these brides and grooms will enjoy their special day with us in 2016 and beyond.
