Cristema Information

Cristema started its activity on 26 January, 1993, inspired by João da Silva Fertuzinhos´ vision who since young age was connected to cutlery industry. Initially, he developed a small enterprise that produced household and gardening equipment, later this small project became more visible and, some years later, he created a factory which produced cutlery. The founder's determination allowed the company to grow and continuously adjust to the market requirements, innovating new production techniques in design and products quality. Cristema has been developing a solid path stating its position in the national and international market, with a policy of commitment and loyalty to its customers. In the previous years the company has continuously invested in different areas, namely its image, human resources, updated machinery, employees ‘training, its quality and safety at work. The company´s philosophy was, and will continue to be, to focus on the acquisition of new technology, which allows positioning the company on the frontline of the markets.
