Family owned and operated since 1966, Crisafulli Enterprises is a compilation of endeavors for Agri-Businessman, Bud Crisafulli: cattle, citrus and construction. Crisafulli Enterprises, Inc. is an active member of the National Federation of Independent Business. It all began generations before with citrus groves that sustained the Crisafulli family. Citrus was the main method of income for the Crisafullis for years until hurricanes and freezes finally took their toll on the majority of the groves. When life threw Bud lemons, he made lemonade. He turned the land no longer suitable for citrus into custom homes for Merritt Islanders as well as prime land for hundreds of cattle. With over 40 years of experience, Bud has left his mark on the development of the North Merritt Island area. Bud has always been an active member in the community, as well. He has served as President of the Brevard County Farm Bureau, Chairman of the Brevard County Variance Board and spent six years as a member of the USDA Farm Service Agency. He is currently President of the Brevard County Cattleman's Association, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Farm Bureau, the Soil and Water Conservation Board, the Brevard County Contractors Licensing Board, the Brevard County Board of Adjustment and Appeals, the Brevard County Agricultural Advisory Board, and numerous other State and County committees. Bud's son, Steve, has been involved with the family business since graduating from the University of Central Florida in the mid 1990's. Once Steve came onboard, custom home building became more of the primary business and Crisafulli Builders, Inc. was born. As Vice President, he has helped launch the business into the 21st century. Steve designs and implements site plans for small and large scale housing developments, and he designs and supervises the construction of luxury homes. He is also actively involved in the Brevard County community. He has held seats on various committees within the Brevard County Farm Bureau and served as President from 2004 to 2006. He was also involved with Leadership Brevard and the Florida Farm Bureau where he worked with additional committees from 1998 to 2004. Steve continues to sit on the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Farm Bureau. In addition to his community involvement, Steve holds an active Florida Real Estate Brokers License and is a member of the Space Coast Association of Realtors, the Florida Association and National Association of Realtors. Steve is currently serving the community as District 32 Representative for the Florida House. Rachel, Bud's sister, manages the office and billing department while also maintaining everyones' busy schedules. Quality and service are the keys to the success of this family business that continues to grow from generation to generation.
