This information helps the B2B customers and reps sell the supplier's products more effectively. Orders can be entered via the portal, and warranty claims can be entered and processed as well. 2) A technological link connecting suppliers with their B2B customers, where information can flow both ways. For example, when a supplier updates its prices, the updated prices can flow down to automatically update the B2B customer's inventory system, increasing customer loyalty and retention. And, information, such as B2B customer inventory or sales data, can flow upwards giving the supplier visibility into what products are actually moving out to the end consumer... giving the supplier direct insight into trends as they are happening and a more solid foundation for production planning and sales forecasting.
