Inspiring the Nation Through Our Success. All Papua New Guineans will have the opportunity to both play and be inspired by cricket. Our strong governance and administration will allow us to be leaders in championing social equity and inclusion. Our PNG National Men's Team, the Barramundis have qualified to play in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2021. Our PNG National Boy's Under 19 Team, have qualified to play in the ICC Boy's Under 19 World Cup in 2022. Our PNG National Women's team, the Lewas, will compete in qualifiers for the ICC Women's Limited Overs World Cup 2022 later in 2021. Through the The BSP School Kriket programme, Cricket PNG has been promoting a better lifestyle, ethical standards of behaviour, community engagement and emotional intelligence to our young people for over a decade. We have continued to run this programme, despite the difficulties Covid 19 has posed, and now over 1.5 million boys and girls, with a 50/50 gender split, have participated since its inception.
