CRI is a Division of RSI Inc., a privately held, minority-owned small business that was founded in 1983 in Pflugerville, Texas. RSIs initial business activity focused on distribution of electrical and electronic products and fabrication of custom EMI/EMC gaskets, seals, filters and other electronics-related products. In response to growing demand, the CRI division was established to support an accelerating trend in the defense industry to use ruggedized commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) electronics for military applications. CRI has since designed, manufactured and delivered rugged computer systems and displays for a variety of military programs and commercial applications deployed throughout the world. CRI is a trusted leader in rugged electronics design and manufacturing, specializing in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electronics products ruggedized to operate reliably in extreme environments. CRI rugged products are custom designed to preserve the full system integrity and functionality of the COTS equipment in a rugged and reliable form factor. Our quick reaction capability, in-house design engineers and manufacturing coupled with our ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D Quality Management System ensures our customers receive state-of-the-art rugged COTS technology On Time, Every Time. No Compromise. In January 2008, RSI Inc. Headquarters and the CRI Division moved into our new 60,000 sq. ft. building in Kyle, TX. This facility was custom-designed to support CRIs state-of-the-art Engineering Design Center, manufacturing, warehousing and back-office operations.
