Cretecs Information

Cretecs is a centre of expertise in care technology, embedded within VIVES University College. Starting from a social service, we aim to: inform, spread and develop practical applicable knowledge regarding the use of care-technological aids. Here, we focus on healthcare organisations, businesses and governments. We do this by mapping the needs of all actors who are involved in the care process. This way, it is possible to tailor the offer of technology. The 'end users' are always a priority in our approach. We guarantee this by being neutral and independent towards technology providers and commercial parties. Our work is multidisciplinary and our advice is formulated based on technological expertise and the content of care. The team is up to date on the latest developments in care technology and maintains close contact with experts, stakeholders and researchers.
