Cretaceous Software is an Idaho-based startup specializing in the creation of software used to enable the next generation SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based solutions. Starting late this year, the company will roll out a series of components, plug-ins and utilities designed to supplement a number of popular software development toolkits and platforms. These products are being designed with a single goal in mind—empowering enterprise developers charged with authoring a new generation of sophisticated Web services and the solutions that leverage those services. Instead of architecting solutions with a casual nod to SOA (what we call superficial SOA) designers will be able to readily immerse themselves in the service oriented paradigm (immersive SOA).
