Cress LPG (Pvt) Limited. was incorporated in April 2003. Initially, it was granted provisional license for construction of LPG storage and filling facilities. After receipt of the provisional license, it rapidly started construction of the filling plant at 23 km Multan Road, Lahore. Test run was made in Dec. 2003. The company started its operations in 2004. The company has planned to set up other filling and storage facilities at different places in the all provinces of Pakistan. New plant has been established in Jhang with filling capacity of 50 M. Tons and storage capacity of 75 M. Tons. It is the policy of Ravi Group to conduct all operations and to handle and dispose of all materials safely and without creating unacceptable health, environmental or safety risks. The company is following National Fire Protection Association (NFPA-58) of America. All staff is given training, once in two months, to meet all kinds of emergencies, safety measures and fulfill technical requirements by qualified trained and experienced national and international consultants The Group carved the idea from the following key opportunities. LP Gas can be transported, stored, and used virtually anywhere in the world. It does not require a fixed network and will not deteriorate over time. LP Gas is very clean burning and has lower greenhouse gas emissions than any other fossil fuel when measured on a total fuel cycle. Originating mainly from natural gas production, it is also non-toxic and will not contaminate soil or aquifers in the event of a leak.
