Learn the joy of painting for process. Release judgement and expectation. Experience pure awareness. No artistic skills or talent are required. This is a journey for everyone. As we take risks to express ourselves, no comments, judgments or critiques are allowed. A mutual support is engendered. Group cohesiveness is formed as we enter into the sacredness of the creative moment. We find that we are very similar in unique ways. There is a lot of play around the paint table, and laughter is often heard. A strong bond naturally occurs. We find a communion in the heart of the painters community. Classes are offered in a studio in Albuquerque over a six week period, and workshops are oferred throughout the United States,the Midwest, Northwest, and Germany. The facilitator/owner has been trained in process painting under the originator of the method, and has taught since 1999, on her own and with the originator, Michele Cassou. She also, had a studio in the Chicago area called Studio for Experiential Painting. Creativity and its nature are discussed as well as ways to get beyond the creative blocks.
