‘Creative Image’ is a new landmark art photography magazine published by one of India’s most renowned photographer, Mr. Raghu Rai. He was the first Indian to become an associate of Magnum Photos and has achieved international recognition. Creative Image is a published bi-monthly and brings together two unique features: it considers established photographers alongside emerging talent, and it considers work from the Indian subcontinent in an international context. Each issue is thematic and brings together the work of recognised photographers from South Asia and the West, to conceptualise the work of emerging artists along the lines of nature, landscape, abstract and experimental photography. After Raghu Rai’s 50 years of photography and making over 40 photobooks such as The Sikhs, Romance of India, Taj Mahal, Tibetian in exile, Calcutta, Mother Tereasa, Indira Gandhi, Varanasi, etc. Creative IMAGE Magazine was launched by Mr. Rai in 2015 as a much needed platform to explore the art of photography in India.
