Creative Hub Studios is a space where people can come create art. A place where artists of all kinds are showcased. A place where business people can come together in fresh ways with twists on networking, workshops, conferences, panels, and presentations. Early after meeting Julieta Fumberg, Shawndra Russell asked her, “What do you say to people that say you do too many different things, or that you should focus more on one thing?” “I laugh in their face,” Julieta responded, making Shawndra almost spit out her gulp of water. From this moment, the two long-time marketers formed a bond that has led them to execute their vision for a creative space that they’ve both been envisioning separately for years. While Julieta dreamed of a funky gallery that did everything differently and truly helped promote the artists as not just creatives but business owners, Shawndra dreamed of creating a space where practically any type of event could be held that showcased the amazing entrepreneurs, makers, and doers of WNC (and beyond) she’d been writing about since moving to Asheville five years ago.
