The Morse family has been in the automotive business since 1946, when Ed Morse founded Morse Motors with his father. Over 75 years later, Ed’s grandson, Chairman/CEO Teddy Morse, continues to build on the legacy and family tradition of his grandfather Ed and his father, Ted Morse. For example, Gordon shocked the Metro Detroit area in 1989 by inventing the No-Dicker Sticker which wowed customers by displaying the best price on a red tag hanging from each vehicle’s rear view mirror up front without the need of haggling. No longer did the customer have to rely on their negotiating skills to get a good deal. That philosophy, maintained to this day, is what paved the way to success and compelled the dealership to complete a major expansion in 1991 and several updates in recent years.
