Founded in 2008, we are a BAFTA-winning game studio, developing innovative storytelling games. We have released a number of successful titles and are best known for the critically acclaimed PS4 hit Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology - a series of stand-alone, horror games - and teen-horror game The Quarry. We also released Little Nightmares III - an exciting adventure in the unique world of Little Nightmares. Our latest release is space-horror game Directive 8020, a Dark Pictures game, which came out on May 12th 2026.

Night School Studio is known for player-driven narratives that combine wonder, danger, and humor. We’re building visionary worlds and pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Our games include OXENFREE, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, Afterparty, Next Stop Nowhere, BLACK MIRROR: Thronglets, and Unhinged. Creating high-quality, text-based multiple-choice games for the web and mobile devices. Using a proprietary programming language, ChoiceScript, Choice of Games seeks to use the "Choose Your Own Adventure" format of the 80s to revive an interest in storytelling but with a postmodern, transmedia twist.
