The Vietnamese Student Association at Cal Poly Pomona is a social and cultural organization dedicated to promoting Vietnamese cultural awareness and fostering a sense of community on campus. Founded in 1969, CPP VSA has grown continuously, providing a welcoming space for students to connect, learn, and celebrate Vietnamese heritage. We are proud to be a member school of the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (UVSA) of Southern California, a coalition of 14 university VSAs that unites Vietnamese American students and young professionals across the region. Together, we work to build unity, serve the community, and advocate for social justice issues affecting our communities both locally and in Vietnam. On campus, we are also part of the Multicultural Council (MCC), supporting and collaborating with other cultural organizations to foster inclusivity. Each year, we host fun, educational, and philanthropic events, such as Tết Festival, to celebrate and share Vietnamese traditions. Our mission is to expand the Vietnamese community and create a home away from home for our members, welcoming anyone interested in Vietnamese culture to join us.
