CPDS was established in 1998 with the aim of delivering continuing legal education that is more productive and practical for participants. For some years there had been a relatively standard format for a CLE seminar which many legal practitioners considered was not the most efficient use of their time and often yielded little practical benefit to participants. Based on feedback received from practitioners, we developed a seminar format which maximises the potential benefit for those attending. Our seminars are primarily designed as workshops which address practical issues encountered by legal practitioners in their chosen field of law instead of the typically regimented style of CLE activity which is commonly available. CPDS offers regular professional seminars throughout Australia. This includes every capital City as well as many regional areas.
