About Coworkify Coworkify is a coworking management software developed by Cocon Startups LLC, a software development company based in Kyoto, Japan. How We Started In 2011, the team behind Coworkify won the grand prize at Startup Weekend, a 54-hour weekend event sponsored by The Kauffman Foundation, Google and Microsoft. Coworkify started as a directory service for coworking spaces with simple booking feature. It quickly attracted the space owners around the world because of its simplicity. For the past 3 years we kept adding new features requested by the space owners. As a result Coworkify became a full-blown coworking management software as of today. Why Use Coworkify Unlike many other coworking management software, Coworkify is designed with simplicity in its mind. We often relate our philosophy to Zen, a Japanese word for simplicity. We think simplicity is the most important aspect of software design because the most valuable time of space owners should be spent for communicating with their coworkers, not for learning how to use the software. The space owners who choose Coworkify think the same way too. They don't want to spend hours a day sitting in front of their computers. Instead, they want to talk to their coworkers and grow their community. Therefore, ease of use is the top priority. "Omotenashi" The Spirit of Kyoto Omotenashi is a Japanese word for describing what goes into the heart of Japanese hospitality. Every year more than 50 million people visit Kyoto, the city where our company is located, and many of them are repeated visitors. Why do such many people keep coming to the city? The people come not just for sightseeing, but also for the unmatched level of hospitality that they receive during their stay.
