Covtec Ltd specialise in low powered safety and security systems. For use typically when no power is available our systems either operate on batteries or solar power. Recently we have undertaken the development of a innovative new level crossing system for user worked crossings. Completely independent from the railway infrastructure it detects trains and warns pedestrians of an approaching train. Powered only by solar panels the system is designed to be operational 365 24/7. It can be configured to work with warning lights, audible alert or both. Where no current solution exists Covtec will develop custom made solutions to the exact requirements of the customer. Our customers range from Police Forces and local Councils to large Infrastructure operators such as Network Rail. Covtec also provides consultancy & installation services for CCTV schemes. We listen to our client and design a system which caters for their site. Our solutions do not come out of a box, each solution is unique as every client is different.
