Founded by Henry Jordan in 1976, Coville is globally recognized as a leader in market-defining performance and fashion knits. To meet the full-package needs of its private label apparel and other sewn products customers, Coville has integrated a fully vertical operation that provides customer solutions from concept to consumer. Coville subsidiaries include Alandale Knitting Company, a circular knitting operation located in Troy, NC that was opened in 1966 by Alan Gutschmit. The Carolina Apparel Group cut and sew garment manufacturing division was started by Vince Hughes in 1975. Coville also maintains significant relationships with dyeing and finishing plants in North and South Carolina; as well as a distribution and fulfillment center in Stallings, NC. Together, the Coville family of companies brings a combined 125 years of industry experience to meet fabric, production, and full package needs.
