Coventry Pride aims to reduce isolation of LGBT+ people, increase visibility of LGBT+ people, to work towards a reduction in Homophobia & Transphobia and greater awareness of LGBT+ rights within Coventry, and to benefit Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual people and those questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity together with their friends and families. Coventry Pride promotes equality and diversity for the public benefit by organising an annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Pride event in Coventry and other events including but not limited to the commemoration of International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHoT), LGBT+ History Month, Transgender Day of Remembrance, Coming Out Day and World Aids Day.
