Country Glass & Mirror, Inc. was established in 1984 jointly by Charles and Karen Risinger along with David Hartley, brother of Karen. This family-owned business originated in the residential market catering to new home builders as well as individual homeowners with the commitment to "Specialize In Service". In 1990, CGM branched out into the commercial market and today this constitutes the majority of projects awarded and completed. Country Glass & Mirror, Inc. is a member of the Texas Glass Association with both Charles and Karen serving as past presidents of the local North Texas Division as well as serving on the state board of directors. Karen is also the 2006 Johnny Lamb Award recipient presented to "The outstanding industry professional for dedicated service to the glass industry". In addition to Charles, Karen and David, Country Glass & Mirror, Inc. has a staff of dedicated professionals consisting of Joe Lambertson, Commercial Estimator, and Andy Robledo, Residential Sales, who have been a part of the CGM team since 1990 along with Bill Whittington, Field Service Manager, since 1999. Country Glass & Mirror, Inc. is committed to employee training through educational programs offered through the Texas Glass Association along with safety meetings conducted on a monthly basis. CGM also has the privilege of being associated with high caliber general contractors who share the same vision of education and safety.
