Countabl is a finance firm for founder-led and owner-operated companies. We handle bookkeeping, cash management, and fractional CFO work for businesses that need a real finance function but aren't ready for full-time hires. Most of the owners we talk to are in the same spot. The books are behind, the CPA shows up once a year, and nobody can tell them how much cash they actually have to work with. So decisions get made on a bank balance and a hunch. We close that gap. We work with clients at three levels, based on how much of the finance function they need from us. Foundation is monthly bookkeeping and reporting. Clean books, on time, every month. Active Cash Management (ACM) is for companies whose needs have outgrown the basics: accrual accounting, forecasting, and the kind of reporting that supports real decisions. Fractional CFO is when a company needs a full finance function built around it. We act as the fractional CFO with a team behind us. For companies that aren't sure where they land, we start with a Cash Clarity Sprint. It's a short, fixed-scope project that gets the cash picture straight and shows both of us what the ongoing work should look like. We use AI where it makes the work better and faster, and we bring it into client work when clients want it. It's part of how we keep books current and get answers back in days instead of weeks. We're a remote team and we're small on purpose. You work directly with the people who run the firm.
