The Slovenian airline Adria Airways has a wealth of experience spanning over 50 years in charter and scheduled air traffic. The Adria Airways story dates back to 1961 when it was founded as a charter company. In the eighties, the airline started serving scheduled routes and became a member of the IATA, the International Air Transport Association.
Today the majority of Adria Airways business is in scheduled flights; its network links Ljubljana with 17 cities throughout Europe and offers excellent connections to South East Europe. Adria Airways offers more than 170 scheduled flights each week to Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Manchester, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Pristina, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tirana, Vienna, Warsaw, and Zurich.
The company’s head office is at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and has representative offices in Ljubljana, at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, Brussels, Moscow, Frankfurt, Zurich and sales agents in almost all European countries.
In January 2010 Adria Airways became a full member of Star Alliance. In connection with its partners, we offer access to a global network of flights on 26 airlines, which offer more than 21,900 daily flights to 1,329 airports in 194 countries.
