The Colegio de Traductores e Intérpretes de Chile, COTICH, is a Chilean professional association of translators and interpreters. Founded in 1991 as a follow-on to the AGTS, COTICH is a member in good standing of the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, FIT. COTICH members adhere to a strict code of professional ethics. The organization seeks to promote and protect the interests of translation and interpretation professionals in Chile, encourage continuing education and contribute to the overall social, economic and social development of Chile.
