COTCO S.A. Information

The Cameroon Oil Transportation Company S.A. (COTCO) is a company under the Cameroonian law. Established on 19 August 1997, it is in charge of the construction, operation and maintenance of the Cameroon Transportation System, which forms with the Chad Transportation System an integrated system of transportation by pipeline of hydrocarbons within the framework of the Chad Export Project (Chad-Cameroon Pipeline Project). Our Mission is to safely transport crude oil from oil fields in Chad to international markets through the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline. Technical specifications of the Transportation System by Pipeline: - Pipeline length: 1,081 km, of which 904 km in Cameroon - Transport capacity: 250,000 barrels/day - Right of way width: 30 to 50 m - Land-based operational facilities: 3 pumping stations, including 2 in Cameroon (at Dompta and Belabo), and a pressure reduction station (PRS) at Kribi - Offshore facilities: one floating storage and offloading vessel (Komé-Kribi 1).
